
Trade Arabia reported that the growing number of opportunities in Kuwait will be the focus of the 7th Annual Kuwait Energy and Infrastructure Projects Conference 2012 set to be held next month at the Marriott Courtyard.
Meed will host the event from November 4th to 7th 2012 shedding light on up to date business intelligence on the fast and expanding infrastructure project sectors of Kuwait.
Keynote speakers include Mr Farouk Al Zanki CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation who will address opportunities and progress developments in exploiting the hydrocarbons sector to optimize Kuwait’s energy resource; Mr Abdulaziz Al Kulaib undersecretary Ministry of Public Works Kuwait, who will give an overview of mega infrastructure projects led by Ministry of Public Works working towards the Kuwait Development Plan and Mr Adel Al Roumi director general Partnership Technical Bureau who will open a day dedicated to discussing the progress of Kuwait’s extensive planned public private partnerships program on November 7th 2012.
Meed Projects data reveals that there are USD 99.5 billion worth of schemes across all sectors currently at the design prequalification or tender phase in Kuwait. Almost USD 55 billion of the projects are in the country’s oil and gas and power and water sectors.
