
Mr Sheikh Hmoud Al Sabbah deputy chairman of Kuwait Oil Tankers Company has revealed plans to build KWD 30 million project for the bottling of butagas cylinders to the north of Kuwait City is for completion in 24 months.
He said that the project will depend on a so called Speed Line technology deemed the most advanced world wide in terms of safety & efficiency. The company is also licensed for the distribution of butagas cylinders inside the Emirate.
Meanwhile, the Executive disclosed that the company is preparing for the award of a contract to an international shipyard for the construction of two new crude oil tankers of 100,000 tonnes capacity each after ship builders improved their financial & delivery conditions. He noted that the company has signed in 2009 contracts with Daewoo Shipyard of South Korea to build 4 similar crude oil tankers valued KWD 680 million.
