Kuwaiti crude hikes to USD 95 day before

KUNA reported that the price of Kuwaiti crude oil rose USD 0.95 in Friday's oil markets to settle at USD 94.87 per barrel compared to USD 93.92 the day before.

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said that the rise in oil prices was due to an upward trend of optimism that major central banks across the globe would work, simultaneously, to save any negative aftermaths of Greece's elections. Greeks are facing elections tough dilemma after which they will decide whether they keep the euro as currency.

Meanwhile, a meeting on that day saw the OPEC oil ministers concurring to leave intact the production ceiling at 30 million barrels per day.
