DP World has announced the successful delivery of two further gantry cranes to its Aden Container Terminal in Yemen.
The delivery of the two new Liebherrs Super Post Panamax quay cranes with a capacity of 65 tonnes and a reach of 22 rows of containers brings the total number of cranes operating at the facility up to seven.
Earlier this year, ACT received and serviced the 8,441 TEU MSC Tomoko the largest container vessel ever to call at the Yemen facility. Aden Container Terminal is a joint venture between DP World and the Yemen Gulf of Aden Port Corporation.
