MEED reported that Dubai based property developer Limitless has invited selected contractors to pre qualify by December 14th 2008 for the main construction package on the USD 300 million Sanaya Amman towers project in Jordan.
Tenders for the work are expected in early 2009, once the prequalification process has been completed. An award is expected to follow several months later and completion is planned for 2011.
The project involves the construction of two 200-metre-tall, 50-floor residential towers that will be Jordan's tallest buildings. The total built-up area will be about 107,000 square meters. The towers will have more than 550 apartments in total and will accommodate up to 2,000 people.
