Macroeconomic indicators - Egypt consumer prices steady in Dec
Zawya reported that prices for Egyptian consumer goods barely moved in December 2010 as compared with the month earlier, making it likely the country's central bank will leave interest rates unchanged for the eleventh consecutive time when it meets on January 27th 2011.
Egypt's Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics said that urban consumer inflation rose to 10.3% in December, from 10.2% in November 2010.
