
Tehran Times reported that the 5th international exhibition on water, wastewater and related industries and the 4th international exhibition on power electronics and industrial automation kicked off in Mashhad on June 18th 2009 and will run for 4 days.
According to the Mehr News Agency, 120 domestic companies from the provinces of Tehran, Khorasan Razavi, North and South Khorasan, East and West Azarbaijan, Yazd, Khuzestan and Sistan-Baluchestan, plus 10 foreign companies from Russia, Canada, Turkey, China, South Korea, Italy and Germany have taken part in the Water Show.
The expo is a venue for the participants to showcase their latest achievements in the fields of dam building and water and wastewater treatment and to display their products including water pumps and electromotors, polyethylene pipes and fittings, as well as calibration and filtration equipment.
The Iran Electro Expo is also attended by 110 domestic and 20 foreign companies from Germany, Poland, South Korea, Britain, Turkey and China
