Move One has recently begun a sizeable project to ship over 2,000 pallets to locations throughout Afghanistan. The shipments will travel with a mix of rail, truck, and sea transport from Port Batummi in Georgia to various sites in Afghanistan. The pallets, which include food trays, paper cups, paper plates, etc, are expected to reach their destinations by early March.

Move One will make use of Batummi port to handle cargo arriving from Hong Kong, India, and Turkey to be transited through Georgia and neighboring countries.

Mr Miklos Papp warehouse supervisor at Move One said that "From Batummi, we will send the cargo to Baku, Azerbaijan by rail and onwards to Aktau in Kazakhstan by sea. Rail is then used again from Aktau to Termez Uzbekistan. Finally, the cargo will be delivered to different locations in Afghanistan by truck after transiting the Hairaton border."

The significant volumes being shipped on this tried and tested route indicate the confidence in Move One's ability to complete these large scale projects.

Mr Miklos said that "We are excited to be a part of this complex logistical project. Throughout the project 80 to 100 rail wagons will be used and 80 to 100 trucks."
