Contractor Muriya Real Estate has been awarded USD 220 million deal by Muriya Tourism Development for the construction of a Banyan Tree Hotel & Resort in Jebel Sifa Muscat.

The project involves the erection of a three storey comprising a total of 239 rooms. The tender for the construction contract was announced in June 2012 and contractors submitted their bids by July.
