Mehr News Agency cited Mr Hossein Noushabadi the Iranian ambassador to Muscat as saying that the 13th meeting of Iran and Oman Joint Economic Commission will be held in Muscat in April.

Mr Noushabadi said that Mr Manouchehr Mottaki foreign minister of Iran will head the Iranian delegation while the Omani side will be led by the country’s commerce and industry minister.

He said that industrial, developmental, political, security, defense, media and health issues will be discussed in the meeting and a memorandum of understanding will be signed.
