Dow Jones reported that the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries will increase crude shipments by 400,000 barrels a day in the four weeks to January 7th 2012, reaching its highest level in nine months amid resurgent Libyan production.
The figures compiled by Oil Movements, which exclude Ecuador and Angola, received a boost by resurgent Libyan production, which reached 1 million barrels a day.
The estimates come as OPEC agreed to keep its production unchanged at 30 million barrels a day.
