A new report has showed that Algeria’s trade surplus during the first 4 months of the year 2011 amounted to about USD 8.6 billion compared to USD 6.8 billion during the same period last year 2010.
According to the report, Algeria’s exports amounted to USD 23.63 billion during the first months of this year, say an increase of 16.45%.
The report relates the increase in the value of Algerian exports to the increase of oil prices which still represents 97.49% of the total volume of the North African country’s exports.
