Oman Ports & Shipping Conference 2011 will be held at Oman International Exhibition Centre on October 26th 2011. The conference will be organized by Oman International Trade & Exhibitions.

Organizing this conference comes due to the importance of the Sultanate as one of the main centers in the shipping and ports sector in the Middle East and as a recognition for the vital role being played by the ports in the Sultanate in providing the trade links between the east and west.

The conference aims at providing full information on the developments of the maritime and ports services in the Sultanate through the participation of experts who will highlight the importance of the port sector in enhancing the national economy, particularly that the total amounts that have been spent in promoting the ports in the Sultanate stood at nearly USD 1 billion.

The conference will offer the available trade opportunities for the regional and international companies and investors as it will also focus on pushing the wheel of growth to enhance the ports and shipping sector.
