Times of Oman reported that Phoenix Power Company awarded Oman Oil Marketing Company a OMR 10 million contract to supply contingency fuel to Oman's first independent power project in Sur.

Oman Oil Marketing Company will supply the power plant with 90 million liters of fuel during the 18-month contract period. The company expects reasonable income derived from this project.
