APP reported that the Engineering Development Board has released the blueprint of a long term National Steel Policy and has invited the stakeholders for a brain storming session to be held on July 31st 2008.

EDB said that the steel manufacturers, energy specialists, academia and office bearers of steel bodies are scheduled to participate in the session for evolving a policy. It added that Mr Asad Elahi CEO of Engineering Development Board will preside over the session.
