
APP reported that Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo Pakistan’s federal minister for industries & production has invited investors from Germany to invest in Pakistan in several sectors, particularly expansion of Pakistan Steel Mill, fertilizer sector and windmill for power generation.
He stated this while talking to a German delegation headed by Dr Olaf Berlien, Chairman of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Technology, who called on him here Wednesday.
Mr Wattoo while welcoming the delegation said that Germany is an advanced and developed country and Pakistan wanted to take benefit from Genrmeny by sharing its expertise and experiences in all sectors of economy.
Wattoo said that Pakistan also is interested in setting up of windmills for power generation through a joint venture with Germany.
He assured that the government will provide all possible support and help to investors in setting up of industries as present climate is very suitable for foreign investments.
