According to data released by the Pakistan Federal Bureau of Statistics, Pakistan's iron and steel scrap imports amounted to 104,350 tonnes in November 2011, up by 4.65% YoY and down by 13.8% MoM.

Pakistan's scrap imports in the July to November 2011 period amounted to 621,088 tonnes, falling by 15.74% YoY.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's iron and steel imports in November amounted to 120,548 tonnes, decreasing by 11.83% YoY and up by 5.54% MoM. The country's iron and steel imports in the July to November period of 2011 totaled 639,727 tonnes, decreasing by 2.85% YoY.
