
Petrofac, a global oil and gas facilities service provider has won two North Sea contracts valued at GBP 30 million from GDF Suez E&P UK, a specialist energy supplier.
The contracts won by Petrofac’s Offshore Engineering & Operations business will be for over 3 years with an additional 2 year option. The contracts were awarded following a competitive tender process.
Petrofac will provide operations, maintenance, engineering and general support services as well as bringing to bear its extensive North Sea operational experience to support GDF Suez E&P UK in the development of its own capabilities in the UKCS. Petrofac will be supplying all offshore personnel and significant onshore support, creating an estimated 100 new jobs in the North Sea over the next 5 years.
