Qatar Mining studies building steel plant in Algeria

Bloomberg reported that Qatar Mining Company is interested in building an Algerian steel complex with an output capacity of 7.1 million tonnes.
The official said that the Algerian state would hold 51% stake in the project to be located in Jijel 400 kilometers east of Algiers with the rest held by Qatar Mining.
