Gulf Times reported that Qatar Steel has extended support to the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of People with Special Needs as part of its corporate social responsibility.
Mr Saeed Mohamed al Roomi public relations manager of Qatar Steel said that “Qatar Steel is keen to support charity and social activities and all other areas benefiting the community. Our success over the years has not been limited to making profits but it is extended to a deeper scale that is our interaction with and serving our community. This is the role we never lose sight of and we, rather, consider as a duty towards our country by building a new generation that we can be proud of.”
Mr Amir al Mulla ED of the society said that this support will be fully allocated to the annual ceremony to be held in mid June 2011 in recognition of male and female students with special needs who show academic excellence.
