Qatar Steel, the leading manufacturer of reinforced steel bars and steel coils since 1978 is to hold its eighth annual traders gathering at Raffles Dubai Hotel.

The main aim of the gathering held outside the country for the first time is to enhance cooperation between the company and its traders and discuss future operational strategies in line with the objectives and vision of Qatar Steel which also operates a Dubai subsidiary.

Mr Ali bin Hassan al Muraikhi director & GM of Qatar Steel will address the gathering which seeks to expand the scope of cooperation through a transparent vision with a view to reinforce Qatar Steel’s position in various markets in this region.

In order to meet the increasing demand for steel in Qatar and the region, Qatar Steel, an Industries Qatar subsidiary, launched a series of initiatives aiming to increase its output capacity.

A company spokesman said that expansion projects are being designed in line with the latest technical specifications to produce world class products.
