RAK Steel has informed said that its plant is under maintenance for 2 weeks and shall resume its production by last of September 2008.

During this maintenance period, the plant is estimated to lose production of around 10,000 tonnes to 15,000 tonne.

Upon completion of maintenance works, it is said that the plant will continue to ramp up with its full capacity of 500,000 tonne per year.
