Rasgas delivers spot LNG cargo to Turkey
Qatar's Rasgas delivered a spot cargo of liquefied natural gas to Turkey's Aliaga Terminal via the private energy firm EgeGaz.
While deliveries of LNG from Rasgas to EgeGaz began in 2009, the shipment is the first cargo delivered to EgeGaz using the smaller Q-Flex tanker.
The Rasgas LNG fleet currently contains 27 vessels including one Q-Max tanker with a cargo carrying capacity of 266,000 cubic meters and 12 Q-Flex tankers that have a capacity of between 210,000 and 217,000 cu m.
