
Gulf Daily reported that Bahrain branch office of US engineering group RathGibson has won its parent company a major contract in India's first 4,000 MW power project.
RathGibson a leading manufacturer of precision engineered welded, welded and drawn and seamless stainless steel, nickel and titanium tubing was chosen by India's Larsen & Toubro to supply titanium welded tubing for condensers for the TATA Mundra project.
Larsen & Toubro is providing the condensers for the TATA Mundra project a USD 4.2 billion power plant that will be built in the state of Gujarat.
Mr Alfredo D'Souza regional director of Middle East said that “RathGibson was awarded this project based upon our high quality products, dedication to customer service and cost effectiveness.
