Oman Observer reported that Raysut Cement posted a net profit after tax of OMR 27.107 million in initial, unaudited financial results for the year ended December 31st 2008.

Mr Mohammed Ahmed al Dheeb, CEO of Raysut, stated that corresponding earnings of the firm in 2007 were higher at OMR 30.120. However, the total turnover climbed to OMR 89.080 million in 2008, from OMR 63.013 million in 2007. Gross profit was also higher at OMR 31.591 million in 2008, compared to OMR 27.952 million in 2007.
