Oman's Raysut Cement Company reported the profit of SAR 9.46 million in the Q2 up 8.99% from the year earlier period.

It said that the company had profit of SAR 17.3 million before tax in the 6 months ended June 30th compared with SAR 20.53 million a year ago.

Reuters calculated the Q2 figure based on the company's earlier financial statements. Raysut Cement posted a net profit of SAR 8.68 million in the Q2 of 2008.

2 analysts polled by Reuters estimated Raysut Cement's quarterly profit at SAR 8.63 million and SAR 16 million in a net profit survey in July.
