The Sui Southern Gas Company has announced a profit after tax of PKR 795.79 million for July to September quarter which is 28.57% lower than PKR 1.11 billion it earned during the corresponding quarter last year.

According to the profit and loss account of the company sent to the Karachi Stock Exchange, the profit translated into an earning per share of 95 paisas during the period under review from PKR 1.33 last year.

The net sale of the company is recorded almost flat at PKR 34.82 billion from PKR 34.034 billion while the cost of sales surged by 9% to PKR 30.17 billion from PKR 28.34 billion.

The finance cost increased by 70.58% to PKR 1.80 billion from PKR 1.06 billion. The company’s other operating income fell to PKR 725.79 million from PKR 1.08 billion last year.
