Oman Daily Observer reported that Oman Cement has reduced the selling price of cement with effect from July 1st 2010.

The company said that the new price incorporates a structured reduction in the selling price over different slabs linked to the quantity of cement purchased by the customer.

It said that the company expects this measure to improve the demand of its cement, thereby resulting in higher revenues and expects to attain the levels of operational results it achieved during the year 2009. This is however, subject to market forces of demand and supply of cement in the Oman market.
