According to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute, in the last quarter of 2009, Turkey's quarterly production index in construction declined 8% YoY while QoQ drop of 8.7% was also recorded.

In the given period, the country's turnover index in construction decreased by 15.6% YoY and was up significantly by 50.1% QoQ.

The QoQ change rates showed that, although the production in construction industry decreased further in the last quarter of 2009, an unfavorable season of the year for the industry in question, the turnover of the industry recorded a significant increase.
