
Mr Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Bahrain Finance Minister and Minister in Charge of Oil and Gas Affairs visited Tatweer Petroleum to review the progress on the master development plan of the company.
Mr Shaikh Ahmed also chairman of National Oil and Gas Authority chairman was welcomed by chief executive Dr Edward J Hanley, deputy chief executive Mr Adel Khalil Almoayyed and other members of the executive management.
He was briefed on Tatweer's operations, production, field development projects, health, safety and environment achievements, Bahrainization process and investment plans. They also reviewed progress on the master development plan in accordance with the development and production sharing agreement signed in April 2009 between the shareholders Occidental, nogaholding and Mubadala.
Mr Shaikh Ahmed was also briefed on new projects including the Enhanced Oil Project, implemented to expand the oil and gas production capacity.
