Tenova through its Business Unit Tenova LOI Italimpianti won an important order for the ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Jubail in al Jubail Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a seamless pipe mill on October 29th 2009.

The plant owner is a JV of ArcelorMittal and Bin Jaralalh Group.

Tenova will supply in the Phase I

1. One rotary hearth furnace for the hot mill

2. One heat treating line that consists of one hardening furnace and quench system and one tempering furnace and related material handling equipment.

The furnaces will be equipped with LOI Italimpianti Low NOx burners in order to cope with the restrictive pollution requirements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Heat treating line 2 will include spray quench system, declares and material handling devices in order to move pipes in between the hardening and tempering furnace.
