According to the statistics provided by the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association, in October Turkey's total hot rolled flat steel exports amounted to 135,220 tonnes increasing by 22.09% YoY and up by 100.73% MoM. Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totalled USD 61.82 million declining by 52.88% compared to October 2008 and up 90.87% MoM.

On the other hand, in the first ten months of 2009, Turkey's hot rolled flat steel exports rose 15.5% YoY to 833,265 tonnes totalling a value of USD 371.47 million down 47.25% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
