According to the published data from Turkey steel export association, Turkey has exported 761,383 tonnes of steel products in January 2012, increased by 52.6% YoY but decreased by 7.9% MoM. The total export value amount was USD 495 million, up by 54.5% YoY but dropped by 8% MoM.

The major export countries of Turkey's rebar were:
UAE - 111,992 tonnes, decreased by 16% YoY
Iraq - 80,079 tonnes, increased by 10.7% YoY
USA - 78,141 tonnes, increased by 2.3 times
Yemen - 63,504 tonnes, up by 2.7 times
Egypt - 54,663 tonnes, increased by 34.6% YoY
Singapore - 45,251 tonnes
