According to the statistics provided by the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association, in October this year Turkey's rebar exports amounted to 658,703 tonnes increasing by 28% YoY and up by 7.4% from the previous month. Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled USD 464.76 million rising by 54.21% compared to October 2010 and up 5.3% from the previous month of this year.
On the other hand, in the first 10 months of this year Turkey's rebar exports stood at 5.9 million tonnes up 10.53% YoY while the total revenue of these exports amounted to USD 4.03 billion increasing by 34.76% as compared to October 2010.
In October, Turkey's rebar exports to the UAE, the largest rebar export destination of Turkey decreased 62.5% while rebar exports to Singapore increased by 203.7% both compared to September this year.
