Turkish seamless steel pipe imports down by 25pct YoY in Nov

According to data, Turkey imported 12,254 tonnes of seamless steel pipes in November 2011, decreasing by 49.5% MoM and also dropping by 24.86% YoY.
The import values of seamless steel pipes amounted to USD 22.47 million, declining by 40.3% MoM and down by 11.7% YoY.
In November 2011, Turkey's imports of seamless steel pipes from China totaled 5,109 tonnes, down by 48.7% MoM, acquiring 41.7% of the total.
At the same time, the country imported 1,259 tonnes of seamless steel pipes from France, surging by 152% MoM.
In the first eleven months of 2011, Turkey's imports of seamless steel pipes totaled 216,515 tonnes, up by 18% YoY.
