According to the provisional foreign trade statistics compiled by the Turkish Exporters' Association, in July this year Turkey's steel exports totaled USD 1.26 billion in value increasing by 1.8% YoY and down 15.4% as compared to the previous month.

In July this year, Turkey's motor vehicle sector had the highest export value of the country's industrial sectors with USD 1.5 billion, decreasing by 22.3% compared to July 2011 while steel was the sector with the fourth highest export value.

On the other hand, in the first 7 months of this year, Turkey's steel export value came to USD 9.33 billion, rising by 4.1% YoY.
