Turkish steel pipe exports continue to fall in Jan

According to the statistics provided by Turkey's Steel Exporters' Association, in January this year Turkey's total steel pipe exports amounted to 132,563 tonnes falling by 5.2% YoY and down 16.15% compared to December 2011.
Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled USD 123 million falling by 22.4% compared to January 2011 and down 3.2% MoM.
Turkey's steel pipe exports to the US increased strongly in the first month of 2012 while exports to EU-27 countries generally declined both compared to the same month last year.
