According to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute, in August this year Turkey's total wire rod exports amounted to 75,056 tonnes decreasing by 1.3% MoM but up 2.3% compared to August 2011.
Meanwhile, the revenue generated by Turkey's wire rod exports in August totaled USD 47.66 million decreasing by 2.95% compared to the previous month and down 9.7% YoY.
On the other hand, in the first 8 months of 2012 Turkey's wire rod exports stood at 762,332 tonnes down 3.9% YoY while the total revenue of these exports amounted to USD 496.2 million decreasing by 7.7% as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
