
Turkmenistan will provide 30 billion cubic meters of gas per annum to Pakistan, Afghanistan and India under the Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistani and India gas pipeline project.
Mr Sapar Berdiniyazov Turkmen ambassador said while addressing students of the Department of International Relations, National University of Modern Languages that “Framework agreement between the four countries had already been signed in Ashgabat. Now the participating countries are negotiating gas price, which is likely to be completed by the next month.”
The ambassador said that Turkmenistan is the fourth largest gas producer in the world and is exporting gas to Russia, China and other European countries.
