
Arabian Business reported that renowned UK architects Foster Partners has won a contract to design a new terminal at Kuwait International Airport. It beat intense competition with several international firms to land the deal.
Mr Richard Dilworth the firm's senior executive and architect this is the second project for Foster + Partners which is headed by world famous designer Sir Norman Foster in Kuwait following the designing of the headquarters of National Bank of Kuwait.
Mr Dilworth said that Kuwait also represents one of the important markets for Foster + Partners in the Middle East. Foster + Partners is currently implementing a number of projects in the region including Abu Dhabi National Museum, Saudi Economic City and a huge stadium in Qatar.
