
Turkey based Varzene Metal has commissioned a cold drawing facility for stainless steel, titanium alloys and special alloy steel.
According to a statement made by Varzene Metal, Varzene Metal which serves the automotive, medical, marine, petro chemistry and defense industries, commissioned its new cold drawing facility in July this year. The facility, established in Tuzla, Istanbul with an investment of approximately EUR 5 million will produce cold drawn special stainless steel, special alloy steel, special tool steels, nickel alloys, valve steels, medical steels and titanium alloys.
Varzene Metal stated that the hot drawn materials to be used in cold drawing will be supplied from Europe, adding that the facility with an annual capacity of 10,000 tonnes will target export markets such as the US and Europe.
