Wison Engineering, China’s largest private petrochemical, oil refining and coal chemical engineering company announced the successful award of two contracts by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation.
The announcement marks an important milestone in Wison Engineering’s expansion into the overseas market which the company says paves the way to further develop its business in Middle East.
The Hadeed de bottlenecking Project is a plant capacity expansion for the Saudi Iron and Steel Company a wholly owned subsidiary of SABIC in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
Wison Engineering will provide engineering, procurement, construction and start up services both within and outside Saudi Arabia with the planned acceptance by the client in September 2013.
Wison was also awarded a project by Yanbu Petrochemical Company to provide EPC services for its Benzene Mitigation project. As part of a treatment system to reduce waste stream benzene content, this petrochemical project involves the establishment of a new benzene separation plant and a renovation of an existing plant. The project is expected to be completed around December 2013.
