Yemen refinery stopped on lack of crude
Reuters reported that Yemen's Aden oil refinery stopped production on Saturday after crude supplies ran out.
A company official said that the refinery had reduced production from 150,000 barrels per day to around 40,000 after a pipeline that pumps oil from Maarib oil field in central Yemen to the Red Sea was blown up about a month ago to keep the refinery running.
Official said that but we had to stop today after supplies ran out," said the official.
