Trade Arabia reported that Zahid Tractor has signed a JV with Schwing Stetter to supply batching plants, transit mixers and concrete recycling equipment across the Kingdom.
A senior official said that Zahid Tractor will provide after sales support and spares, initially from its main branch in Jeddah while the company prepares its existing Kingdom wide and strategic presence to establish a network of services and parts.
Mr Nasser Bayram director of Zahid Tractor said that “There is an increasing demand for concrete for the large number of massive projects underway in the Kingdom and our JV with Stetter will provide a significant boost for the construction industry, enabling enhanced production and more efficient utilization of resources.”
He said that “Schwing-Stetter machinery is seen on construction sites all around the world and by partnering with the industry's top manufacturer we are ensuring that Saudi gets the very best equipment available to support the many projects designed to meet the housing needs of the Kingdom's rapidly expanding population.
He added that besides it will also facilitate the expansion, diversification and growth of the Kingdom's economy.
