Taymir coal deposit put for bidding

FIS reported that the licensed site is located in the northwest of Taymir coal basin, more than 100 kilometers from the settlement of Dixon. Its area is 615 square kilometer.

The deposit's probable reserves are estimated at 678 million tonnes of coal, including 305 million tonnes of energy coal. The site's start price was set at RUB 28 million. The auction is scheduled for February 26th 2008.
