Danieli to supply ceramic burner to IUD Dunaferr

It is reported that Danieli Corus has received an order from IUD Dunaferr Dunai Vasmü ZRT in Hungary for the engineering and refractory supply for one ceramic burner for stove No 1 of Blast Furnace No 2 in Dunaújváros, Hungary.

This is the eighth order in row for the Hungarian re designed hot blast stoves and completes the re construction of all eight stoves with Danieli Corus ceramic burners for their Blast Furnace 1 and 2. The first burner was installed in 1996 and this last order reflects the excellent performance of the previously installed seven ceramic burners.

IUD is the majority owner of Dunaferr.
