Wuyang Steel Churns out Q460 to 35 Steel for Bird\'s Nest

It is reported that China's Wuyang Steel has become the first domestic steelmaker that can roll out Q460 to 35 Steel for Bird's Nest Olympic Stadium.

As per report due to special structure, the Bird's Nest requires low alloy high strength steel, whose strength doubles that of common steel. Q460 steel is the best choice. However, China has to import the product from Luxemburg, South Korea or Japan as no domestic steelmaker can yield it.

After technological research, Wuyang Steel has successfully developed Q460 to 35 Steel for Bird's Nest Olympic Stadium.
