Shouqin starts construction of iron ore complex at Qinglong

It is reported that the integrated iron ore project of Shouqinlonghui Mining Co Ltd has started construction officially at Qinhuangdao's Qinglong in Hebei Province on June 6th 2008 marking the framework of overall strategic cooperation between Shougang and the Qinhuangdao city government achieved a substantial process.
As one of the major cooperation between Shougang and Qinhuangdao city government, the integrated project aims to yield 2 million tonnes of iron ore concentrate annually matched with 2 million tonnes of acid pellet project within 2 to 3 years.
As per report the 2 million tonnes of pellet project as well as of the 1.5 million tonne ore concentrate project are expected to put into service on June 6th 2009.
