Turkish exports make strong showing in August

TODAY'S ZAMAN reported that the industrial, agricultural and mining sectors recorded the highest volume of exports, while iron and steel manufacturing saw the biggest increase in exports followed by the chemical and machine components sectors.

Istanbul Mineral and Metal Exporters Union members exported the highest number of goods in August, bringing in USD 4.6 billion in revenue with primary recipients being the United Arab Emirates, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russia and France.
