OMK Chusovskoy production update for August 2008

OMK’s Chusovskom Metallurgical Plant summed up the results of production activities for August and 8 months in 2008.

Finish rolled in the reporting month produced 34,800 tonnes. Since the beginning of the year CHMZ produced 305,200 tonnes of finished rolled that at 11,600 tonnes up by 4% more than 8 months in 2007.

Crude steel in August 2008 amounted to 40,100 tonnes. Total for 8 months of 2008 was 344,500 tonnes of smelted steel which is 13,100 tonnes up by 4% more than 8 months in 2007.
